About the Role

We are looking for an Employee Relations Manager to join our HR team and lead the Employee Relations agenda across the Multilingual Africa Cluster, covering Morocco, Senegal, Ivory Coast and Madagascar.
In this role, you will act as the Employee Relations subject matter expert, providing guidance and support on employee relations, labor compliance, disciplinary matters, investigations, grievances, EthicsPoint cases, labor litigation and social dialogue.
You will work closely with HR, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Global Labor Relations and other key stakeholders to ensure effective case management, mitigate risks and promote consistent application of company policies and local labor legislation.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations & Labor Compliance

• Lead the Employee Relations agenda across the cluster.
• Ensure compliance with local labor legislation, company policies and Group standards.
• Provide expert guidance to HR and Operations on complex employee relations matters.
• Identify potential ER risks and recommend appropriate preventive and corrective actions.
• Ensure consistency in disciplinary practices and decision-making.

Investigations, Ethics & Grievances

• Lead and coordinate complex employee investigations.
• Manage and follow up on EthicsPoint cases in collaboration with Ethics & Compliance and Global Labor Relations.
• Oversee employee grievances, complaints and sensitive workplace matters.
• Ensure investigations are objective, well documented and completed within appropriate timelines.
• Follow up on corrective actions and ensure effective case closure.
• Disciplinary & Litigation Management
• Provide guidance on disciplinary procedures and sanctions in line with local legislation and internal processes.
• Coordinate labor litigation and employment-related disputes with Legal and external counsel.
• Monitor ongoing litigation, associated risks and required actions.
• Analyze trends and root causes to help reduce recurring employee relations issues.

Social Relations

• Support relationships with employee representatives, labor authorities and other relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate employee representative elections and related social dialogue activities.
• Support HR leadership in managing collective employee relations matters.
• Anticipate potential social risks and develop appropriate mitigation plans.
 

Profil recherché :

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Law, Employment Law or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in Employee Relations, HR, Labor Relations, or Employment Law.
• Strong knowledge of Moroccan labor legislation; experience with other African labor environments is a strong advantage.
• Proven experience managing complex investigations, disciplinary cases, grievances and labor disputes.
• Experience working with employee representatives and labor authorities.
• Strong analytical, risk assessment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive matters with discretion.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Comfortable working in a multicultural and multi-country environment.

Languages

• Fluent French and English are required.
• Additional languages relevant to the cluster are an advantage.
